Hello, I’m Anna (she/her). I was born in the UK and now live in Sweden with my partner and our lively little dog.
For two decades my professional life was in the corporate world, but alongside that path ran a deep commitment to understanding the human experience. This journey eventually led me to shift my focus entirely toward therapeutic work. Informed by Psychosynthesis and Internal Family Systems (IFS), my part-time practice is built on the belief that these approaches can profoundly reshape our relationship with ourselves and the world around us.
Beyond work, I find joy in life’s quieter and wilder moments: hiking and foraging in the forests, growing things in the garden, learning about local wildlife, practicing yoga, and trying hard to resist my book-collecting urges. At home, much of my daily joy comes from cooking and relaxing with my partner, and giggling at our dog’s ongoing quest for mischief and treats!
I follow an animistic spiritual path, and I aim to create a therapeutic space that honours and welcomes all identities, cultures, belief systems, neurotypes, and ways of being.
As a cisgender woman of mixed white ancestry (English, Scottish, and Irish), I strive to remain aware of how my own background and positionality shape the space between myself, and those I work with. I am committed to ongoing reflection, learning, and practice in service of justice, inclusion, and a deeper sense of connection to the whole web of life.

My core training as a therapist is in Psychosynthesis, an integrative and psychospiritual approach to psychotherapy established in the 1930s by Roberto Assagioli (1888–1974). He was an Italian psychiatrist who was trained under Sigmund Freud, and later became a contemporary of C.G. Jung. Assagioli incorporated wisdom from a diverse range of Western and Eastern approaches to healing, including raja yoga, non-dualism, psychoanalysis, Jungian dreamwork, art therapy, and Gestalt techniques for working with parts.
Alongside this, I am Level 3 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a modality often described as a way to build secure attachment within yourself, by getting to know and heal the parts of you that hold trauma from the past. I’ve found it interplays beautifully with Psychosynthesis.
My approach is trauma-informed, supported by additional training in safety and stabilisation of the nervous system, and somatic healing practices. I am currently deepening this focus on embodiment through a Yoga Teacher Training course, which allows me to further integrate movement and breathwork into client sessions. I am also a certified Mental Health First Aider.
I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attend my own personal therapy, supervision, further trainings, and peer groups.
